Many of us stand over the sink every day and rarely give it a second thought: caring for our teeth. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are only as far away as the nearest store. Unfortunately, this is not the case for all people.
Manna Food Bank has asked for toothbrushes for those in need here in WNC. We are matching all toothbrushes donated by our patients. So far, our amazing patients have donated 96 toothbrushes- the new toothbrushes we give them at their cleaning appointments. We rounded our match and last week sent 200 new toothbrushes to Manna Food Bank. We are taking our toothbrush outreach program one step further and inviting our local dental community to participate too!
